It found updates but wouldn’t install them. I’ve stopped and started the update service. I even troubleshooted the RAM, removing one stick at a time. I also reformatted both hard drives, ran Killdisk and have done multiple fresh installs and no luck. I’ve also tried the language pack trick which is set to English and making sure Windows was allowed to verify. Windows update usually throws some error codes or nothing at all. The longest I let it sit while it searched is about 24 hours.
I should mention too that this is a brand new computer out of the box and doesn’t have any other software installed other than Google Chrome because IE will not update.
That’s another problem but, I am not worried about that. If I get updates, that may resolve itself. This thread is locked.

User’s post on April 24, Thanks for getting back with me. Still no luck. One of the error codes Update displayed is E. I’ve also tried to install Intel Rapid Storage Driver that the error says is the issue but, I get an error saying something about I don’t have the right hardware or something. The first link was for 64 bit system so I wasn’t able to install that one. I installed the fix on the second link, then tried Update again. No luck. I then installed KB and rebooted. Tried Updated again with no luck. Turned off the PC so I can take a break and it said there were 3 updates to not power off. So, I waited, let it shut down and rebooted and then I went back to Update and there Look at the screen shot. That’s awesome news. Now, if it will download them.
